Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
Lynn Marie Auzenne started her financial services career as a mortgage banker in Chicago, IL, in the midst of the early 90s real estate market bubble. During this time, she learned firsthand how critical access to capital could be for families, struggling entrepreneurs, and people hit hard by financial hardship.
At the turn of the millennium, Lynn Marie returned to her home state of California and joined Charles Schwab in San Francisco. After participating in a leadership rotational program and gaining exposure to many aspects of the investing and brokerage world, Lynn Marie discovered a love of both digital capabilities and customer experience. She saw the potential to reach and empower people formerly deprived of access to financial education, tools, and services. Lynn Marie helped build out market entry strategies for the global mobile team and launched programs to leverage customer experience insights that would inform strategic investments and product design.
Between 2002 and 2006, Lynn Marie was a change management consultant for regional banks and credit card servicers, helping her clients reengineer enterprise processes to improve business controls and performance. In late 2006, she joined the consumer credit division of Wells Fargo, managing strategic planning for their servicing and recovery divisions. She was able to help the bank pivot its collections practices to be more flexible and consumer-centric, structuring and offering various loan modification programs to borrowers impacted by the Great Recession. As the market recovered, Lynn Marie joined the digital banking team, helping direct product and customer experience strategy, and building out the Wells Fargo consumer credit digital marketing team.
Lynn Marie joined the Beneficial State Bank leadership team in 2019 after coordinating the development of our three-year strategic plan to scale the bank's impact. She manages brand, communications, PR, digital marketing capabilities and analytics, and our social media strategy. Her primary focus is on educating partners, stakeholders, and the public around the power they have to hold banks accountable and ensure that these institutions serve the best interests of the communities that deposit their money in them. Lynn Marie holds her undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley and her MBA from the Haas School of Business. She lives with her family and two precocious pups in the East Bay Area.
