Notice for Beneficiaries of Treasury's Assisted Programs: Your Civil Rights Are Protected

Nondiscrimination provisions apply to all programs and activities of recipients and sub-recipients of federal financial assistance. In programs that receive financial assistance from the Department of the Treasury, discrimination is prohibited on the bases of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or limited English proficiency. Reprisal actions against individuals for their prior civil rights activity are prohibited. Additionally, in Department of the Treasury programs and activities, discrimination is prohibited on the bases of disability, and limited English proficiency.

Notice of Change to ATM Deposit Availability

Effective August 15, 2020.

As Beneficial State Bank has seen increased use of digital channels, such as ATMs, electronic, and mobile banking, fraudsters have become more aggressive and sophisticated. The Bank is responding with changes aimed at enhancing fraud protection for our customers’ assets and for our operations. Therefore, effective August 15, 2020, access to funds deposited via ATM will change as described below.

We are making the following changes to our funds availability policy regarding ATM deposits:

Deposits at Proprietary ATM

The first $1,000 from any deposit (cash or check) made at automated teller machines (ATMs) we own or operate will be available to you on the first Business Day after the day of your deposit. Any additional funds you deposit will not be available until the second Business Day after the date of your deposit. All ATMs that we own or operate are identified as Proprietary.

Deposits at Nonproprietary ATM

The first $1,000 from any deposit (cash or check) made at automated teller machines (ATMs) we do not own or operate will be available to you on the first Business Day after the day of your deposit. Any additional funds you deposit will not be available until the first fifth Business Day after the date of your deposit. All ATMs that we do NOT own or operate are identified as Nonproprietary.

Changes in Terms Funds Availability

Effective July 01, 2020.

Our policy is to make funds from your cash and check deposits available to you on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit. In some cases, depending on the type of check that you deposit, funds may not be available until the second business day after the day of your deposit. Effective July 1, 2020 the amount of your deposit that will be available for withdrawal on the first business day is increasing from $200 to $225 and the amount on exception holds for large deposits and new accounts, not subject to next day availability, will increase from $5,000 to $5,525. In addition, the threshold for determining a repeat overdraft increases from $5,000 to $5,525.
