Beneficial State Bank Leadership Update
Mar 16, 2026 | Kat Taylor, Chair, Board of Directors
On behalf of the Board of Directors, today we’re announcing an important leadership update at Beneficial State Bank.
Randell Leach is stepping down as CEO and starting a new chapter after nearly 25 years in Beneficial Banking. In his 5 years as CEO, Randell helped grow our Beneficial Banking model and build an incredible team. His legacy will live on in our next era.
The Board of Directors has asked COO, Shamara “Sham” van der Voort to serve as Interim CEO in partnership with Executive Advisor Reggie Brown. Sham is a steady, values-driven leader who understands Beneficial State Bank’s mission deeply and brings with her deep experience developing high performing banks. The Board will soon begin a comprehensive search for our next CEO, guided by our commitment to integrity, accountability, and collaboration.
Our mission, our strategic direction, and our commitment to the communities we serve remain unchanged. The work underway across the bank continues without interruption.
On behalf of the Board, we want to thank Randell for his leadership in the field of Beneficial Banking and especially with us.
